Edit Furniture builds every piece after you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting for a buyer, so nothing is built to a compromise — you pick the frame, the fabric, the configuration and the seat depth, and our workshop starts from there.
Working factory-direct means the markup a traditional showroom adds for stock, storage and floor space never reaches your invoice. The same craftsmanship, the same solid hardwood frames and high-resilience foam, at roughly half of what the same build costs on a shop floor.

How we work
From your living room to our workshop and back, in four steps.
We visit you
A designer measures the room, brings swatches and shows you what fits before anything is ordered.
You choose
Frame, fabric, colour, seat depth, leg design — every choice is priced up front, with no surprises.
We build it
Your piece is cut and upholstered to order on a kiln-dried hardwood frame, then quality checked twice.
We deliver & assemble
Our own team brings it in, assembles it in the room and takes the packaging away with them.
What you can change
Nothing on this site is a fixed product. These are the levers.
Fabric
Over 100 upholstery fabrics: boucle, chenille, linen blends, performance weaves, leatherette and full-grain leather.
Colour
250+ shades. Send us a paint chip or a cushion and we will match it as closely as the dye allows.
Size
Width, depth and height are all adjustable. Awkward stairwell or a 2.2m wall — say so and we build to it.
Configuration
Left or right chaise, corner modules, extra seats, matching ottoman. Reconfigure later as the room changes.
Comfort
Soft, medium or firm foam; feather-topped or all-foam cushions; deeper seats for lounging or shallower for upright rooms.
Legs & finish
20+ leg designs in oak, walnut, black steel and brushed brass, plus arm and back styling options.
Frequently asked
How long does an order take?
Two to three weeks from the day the design is confirmed. Cinema seating with powered mechanisms can take a week longer; we tell you the date before you pay.
Can I see the fabric first?
Yes. Book a free home visit and a designer brings the swatch books to you, so you see the fabric in your own light.
What does the warranty cover?
Ten years on the hardwood frame, three years on the foam and mechanisms, one year on the upholstery against manufacturing defects.
Do you deliver outside the city?
We deliver across India. Delivery inside our service cities is by our own team; elsewhere it goes by insured freight with assembly instructions.
Can I return a made-to-order piece?
Custom builds cannot be returned for a change of mind, which is why we measure and confirm first. Anything that arrives damaged or off-spec is repaired or replaced.
